Born from a passion for adventure, community, and great food, Moto Chef blends the thrill of the ride with the artistry of the kitchen. Chef Eric Rud takes fine dining off the grid — cooking over open fire, in remote locations, for riders and explorers who share a love for the road less traveled.
A lifelong obsession with motorcycles alongside years of professional dining experience, Eric built Moto Chef around a simple idea: fueling adventure through food. Whether it’s a backcountry rally, a mountaintop dinner, or a fire-lit feast after a long day in the saddle, Moto Chef celebrates good people, good company, and the joy of sharing a meal under the open sky.

Moto Chef is where my passions for food, bikes, and the open road come together, creating unforgettable dining experiences tailored to every event. For me, it’s all about good food, great company, and the shared stories that make every ride and every meal special.

Join us at the Touratech Rally in Plain, Washington for an unforgettable evening of food, stories, and camaraderie. Moto Chef brings his signature mix of fine-dining craft and rally spirit to the Touratech Rally table with a family-style dinner designed to fuel riders and friends alike. There is no better way to cap off an epic Rally than with our signature Moto Chef Whole Hog Roast. Join us on the final night for a true culinary spectacle and a massive barbecue celebration! We are going low-and-slow, roasting two colossal 120lb hogs prepared in two distinct, mouth-watering styles: bold, smoky Texas Barbecue and sweet, savory Hawaiian Kalbi.
